Growth & Impact

Ministry expanded beyond South Africa, reaching countries including Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, and Uganda. Established international connections through Ship-A-Shore Cruise Hospitality Program.

Present Day

Today, we continue our mandate from Isaiah 61:1-4, ministering to the brokenhearted, bringing God’s healing touch, and witnessing incredible signs and wonders as God’s power moves in our midst.

LEADERSHIP

I am the leading pastor of Bethel Beacon of Hope Ministries, a vibrant, Word-centered church that was established in June 2017 in Brakpan, Johannesburg, South Africa. For the past 10 years, I have been blessed to be married to Tshidi Macu. Together, we share a strong passion for spreading the gospel and serving God’s people. When it comes to Jesus Christ, we stand firm, never compromising our faith.

With a heart to reach the world, I am dedicated to ministering to the brokenhearted, bringing God’s healing touch, and proclaiming freedom for the captives. This mission is deeply rooted in our mandate, as outlined in Isaiah 61:1-4, and continues to guide and inspire our work in ministry.

Since the church’s inception, we have witnessed incredible signs and wonders as God’s power moves in our midst. I have had the privilege of preaching in several countries, including Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Uganda, expanding the reach of the ministry. In addition, I am honored to serve international graduates, providing spiritual guidance to those under Ship-A-Shore Cruise Hospitality Program.

Pastor Tshidi Macu, ordained in 2018, hails from Lesotho, where she was born and raised. She began her journey in music as a session musician before relocating to South Africa, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with several prominent artists. It wasn’t long before she embraced her prophetic gift, and through her ministry, she has positively impacted and supported many families within her community. Pastor Tshidi is dedicated to serving as both a worshipper and a prophetess at Bethel Beacon of Hope.

Beyond her pastoral role, she also serves as a counselor for women and children. She continues to support the church’s Isaiah 61 mandate, bringing healing, restoration, and hope to those in need. A woman of deep faith and love, she lives her life in alignment with her beliefs, exemplifying them through her work and service.

Our Mandate

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” – Isaiah 61:1
